Mark + Iris [Cabo San Lucas, Mexico]

I photographed Mark & Iris’s wedding in Cabo 6 years ago. One of Iris’s requests for her wedding was beach photos. Because of the schedule and the outrageous heat that day, they decided not to make the hike down to the beach. A couple of weeks ago, we were in Cabo for a family members wedding (that I also shot) and we decided to do a session very close to where they got married. It was a very small beach filled with local families. The water was a rich blue green color; unlike anything we have here in California. The sand looked like crushed graham crackers (but felt like a bunch of rocks being jammed in between my toes). Rocks jetted out of the shallow water in such a pretty and unique way. It was beautiful! We have gorgeous beaches here but it was refreshing to be in a place very different from California. Mark & Iris looked great and being in front of the camera was easy for them.
